Albion in the Community is now recruiting for an assistant health co-ordinator (West Sussex).

This role will be primarily be based in Worthing and Adur and occasionally, the American Express Community Stadium in Brighton.
This role will involve increasing levels of awareness and confidence amongst the over 50’s in deprived areas of Adur and Worthing abut the signs and symptoms of cancer and the importance of early detection. This role will also involve managing a volunteer team delivering cancer awareness messages.
Candidates must have experience of managing volunteers or staff and experience of direct promotion and engagement with communities or community groups. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a range of communities and stakeholders.
This is a fixed term contract commencing October 2014 and ending in March 2015 with a possibility to extend the contract.
